Therapeutic Bathing at Home
photo

Many people have been asking me how they can make their own herbal remedies in order to create a therapeutic bathing experience at home. It is really quite simple. You need to know what herbs match your current emotional and physical condition. And, you will need to know what quantities to use.

Simply adding essential oils to the bath water is really not a good idea. Essential oils loose their potency when added to water, particularly hot water. Since essential oils are very expensive, this type of bathing remedy is not recommended. You will need to start with great quality salts and fresh herbs in order to form the basis of your therapeutic bath.

The first herb we will explore is lavender since this is an extremely popular herb and has many fantastic healing properties.

Please check back for the working with lavender blog post coming next week.
